Hello, I'm Tess! I'm a scenic artist and prop maker currently based in Cardiff, Wales.

One of the things I love about scenic art is how varied it is, and though I love painting and creating in all forms, I’m especially passionate about painting for theatre. I also have a love for lettering! I am inspired by traditional signwriting, and especially decorative lettering: from fairground art to illuminated manuscripts to fileteado, there’s just something magical about ornately painted words!
